I started Just Hitched Films in 2012 with the vision in mind to produce a wedding film that not only tells the unique story of the wedding day, but also captures the personalities of the couple. My creative career in the wedding industry began back in 2006 as an assistant photographer and video editor. While enrolled at Temple University's school of Film and Media Arts, I spent much of my free time producing and directing music videos. I am a creative visionary with over 15 years of experience telling stories through video editing. Storytelling is practically my middle name.
I am also a people-person, and I love getting to know our couples inside and out. I am driven and dedicated to creating the best possible film I can while maintaining constant communication the whole way.

As a Pitt student I fell in love with filmmaking in 2008 while interning at the Pittsburgh Film Office and local extras casting agencies. Little did I know it was the start of my career in film! Since graduating I spent six years traveling around the US coordinating films and television shows, working with studios like Sony, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, and more.
Wanting to gain more hands-on experience, I spent the following years filming and editing weddings, commercials, and corporate, editorial and narrative films. Joining Just Hitched in 2014 as co-owner and editor has given me the incredible platform to tell couples’ stories supported by our seamless process.

Caffeine!
While studying at Duquesne University in 2015, I was granted the opportunity to be one of three TV Production interns for WQED Multimedia, and later that year I was a production intern for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, specifically in Journalism with a concentration in Broadcasting.
I joined Just Hitched in 2017 as an assistant editor and scheduling coordinator. I'll make sure all of the details of your day are in place and your day goes off without a hitch. I also fine-tune my scheduling skills as an onsite wedding planning assistant with Pittsburgh based event planning company, Hello Productions.
